Grubhub memes are a popular topic in the food delivery community. Indeed, there are entire communities online dedicated to sharing funny food delivery memes.
If you don’t know what a Grubhub meme is, it’s typically a picture with a funny caption about Grubhub. Some memes are just for sharing within the food delivery community – usually complaining about low-paying orders, non-tippers, or something else related to working for Grubhub.
Other memes are for sharing with customers. If you’re working as a Grubhub Driver and like to use Grubhub memes, you’ll send the meme via a text to the customer. Most of the time, you’ll send a funny meme when you’re waiting for the order at the restaurant or when you’ve picked up the order and are on the way to the customer.
Sending memes on Grubhub makes less sense compared to doing the same thing on DoorDash or Uber Eats. That’s because Grubhub customers don’t rate drivers and tips are set at the time the order is placed – before it’s delivered. That means even if you make the customer laugh or entertain them, they can’t change their tip or give you a rating. At best, they could give you an additional cash tip, but the chances of that happening are exceedingly rare.
Personally, I avoid sending memes because I think it’s unprofessional and I think most customers don’t want to be bothered by their delivery driver.
With that being said, if you do want to send memes or just want to see some funny memes, in this post, I share some of the funniest and best Grubhub memes you can use. I’ll also look at some of the pros and cons of sending Grubhub memes to customers.
Best Grubhub Memes
There are two main types of memes you’ll want to use (assuming you want to use Grubhub memes). The first are memes you send when you’re waiting for the order at the restaurant. The second are memes you send once you’ve picked up the order and are on the way to the customer. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite memes.
1. Memes When Waiting For The Customer’s Order
Here’s a funny meme that I think will get a chuckle from most customers. It uses the famous Bernie Sanders picture during the presidential inauguration. Most people will get a laugh out of this, regardless of political affiliation.
Another good meme is this one featuring Baby Yoda. I’m sure most customers will get a good laugh from this one or at least thnk it’s cute.
2. Memes To Send To Customers Once You’ve Picked Up Their Order
Here’s a good meme you can send to customers after you’ve picked up their order. People love dogs doing human things and the face this Corgi makes is hilarious.
Another good meme you can send is this one from the Terry Crews scene in the movie White Chicks. Anyone familiar with this scene will get a laugh out of it.

Should You Send Memes To Customers?
Whether you should send Grubhub memes to customers is a matter of personal preference. A lot of the reasons you might send memes don’t really apply when it comes to Grubhub. Customers already tip in advance and don’t have the option to change their tip or add an additional tip, so doing it for higher tips doesn’t really work. At best, someone might give you a cash tip for making them laugh, but the chances of that happening are super rare.
You also don’t get ratings on Grubhub, so sending memes isn’t going to do anything on that front.
That doesn’t mean you can’t send memes. It’s probably unlikely to hurt you. However, be aware that some customers might find memes unprofessional or see them as offputting. Others might be annoyed that you’re bothering them with stupid texts when all they care about is getting their food delivered to them quickly.

You can find hundreds (if not thousands) of Grubhub memes online. No matter what you’re looking for, you can probably find a Grubhub meme that works for you. And if you can’t find a good one, make your own.
