Is DoorDash busy on the 4th of July? With the 4th of July holiday coming up, it’s a good question to ask yourself. Here’s the answer. As you might expect, DoorDash is not very busy on the 4th of July. Indeed, it might be one of the slower days of the year for DoorDash (I’d say it’s either Thanksgiving or Christmas as the two slowest days).

In this post, we’ll take a look at what DoorDash is like on the 4th of July and whether it’s worth Dashing on that day.

Is DoorDash Busy On The 4th of July?

As mentioned, DoorDash is not busy on the 4th of July and, in fact, it’s probably one of the slower days of the year for DoorDash. There are two main reasons why DoorDash isn’t busy on the 4th of July.

First, as you can imagine, most people aren’t ordering delivery because they’re cooking dinner and having barbeques with family and friends. Instead of ordering food delivery, the 4th of July is a time for people to get together and have home-cooked meals. As a result, there aren’t a lot of customers ordering food.

The second reason is that most restaurants are closed on the 4th of July, so even if people wanted to order food, there aren’t a lot of restaurants that are open for people to order from. DoorDash is only as good as the restaurants that are available, so if restaurants are closed, you can expect that DoorDash won’t be busy.

Best Times To Do DoorDash On The 4th of July

Unfortunately, there aren’t really any good times to do DoorDash on the 4th of July. There aren’t many restaurants that are open on the 4th of July, so even if people were ordering food, there wouldn’t be restaurants available.

If you’re dead set on doing DoorDash during the 4th of July, you’ll probably want to aim to work earlier in the day, when some restaurants may be open.

But in my opinion, DoorDash isn’t worth doing on the 4th of July. Save your time and spend it with your family and friends instead.

Final Thoughts

The 4th of July is one of the slower holidays for DoorDash and one of the slowest days of the year for the app. While the DoorDash app is open and available for customers, there aren’t many restaurants open and few customers are ordering because they’re spending time with family.

My advice – don’t waste your time with DoorDash on the 4th of July. Spend your time relaxing and wait for busier days.
