Most people have the day off, which means Black Friday is essentially a weekend day for people. And since people might be tired after a busy holiday with friends and family, they’ll treat themselves and get food delivered to them.

I think of Black Friday as similar to a busy weekend day. People are home. They’re ordering food. And restaurants are busy and open. Some of the best days I’ve had was when I delivered food on the day after Thanksgiving. So, if you’re looking to make money on Grubhub, Black Friday is a great time to do deliveries.

The best times to do Grubhub on Black Friday are similar to most days. You want to aim to work during the lunch and dinner hours.

However, Black Friday is unique because it acts more like a weekend day than a weekday. That means, for the most part, it can stay busy throughout the day, not just during the prime lunch and dinner hours. You’ll still likely make the most if you concentrate on the lunch and dinner rush, but you should be able to stay busy most of the day so long as you are strategic and stick to busy areas.

Of course, all of the other basic strategies and principles apply if you want to make the most money on Grubhub. Be strategic with the orders you accept. Work during prime hours. And of course, multi-app if you can, rather than only relying on Grubhub (that means sign up for DoorDash, Uber Eats, and any other delivery apps that are available in your city).

You can expect that Grubhub will be busy on Black Friday. Not only is it a busy retail day, but it’s also a busy day for restaurants. A lot of people are home with family and after spending so much time cooking and preparing food, many people just want to sit back and get food delivered to them.

In short, if you want to make extra money, Black Friday is a good day to get out there and do some deliveries.
