Whenever I deliver food with DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub, I always do so using a bike or electric scooter. It’s the best way to do deliveries, in my opinion. However, if you’re going to do deliveries with a bike, you need to use the right gear. And the most important piece of gear is a good food delivery backpack. In this post, I’ll go over what I think is the best backpack for food delivery.
Investing in a high-quality food delivery backpack is important because it’ll make your food delivery life much easier. While apps like DoorDash do give you a free food delivery bag, those bags aren’t as good as a dedicated food delivery backpack. Trust me on that. I used the free bags that I held over my shoulder for years. But when I switched to an actual food delivery backpack, it completely changed the game.
When you’re looking for a good food delivery backpack, you want to think of a few features. Price is important. Some bags are simply more expensive than others and are better made and come with better features. It’s an investment in your food delivery business, but you need to decide what you’re willing to spend.
The other features that matter is an insulated interior and a decent size so you can hold larger orders. Some backpacks make it possible to hold pizzas. Others are going to be better suited for smaller orders. Finally, you’ll want to make sure your backpack has cup holders in it so you can hold drinks. When you’re delivering food on a bike or scooter, drinks are the bane of your existence, so having a drink holder in your bag can make a world of difference.
With all that said, here are the best backpacks for food delivery that you can find on Amazon and elsewhere:
Best Backpack For Food Delivery
1. Uber Eats or DoorDash Delivery Backpack
Uber Eats makes a fairly affordable and good-quality food delivery backpack. It has an insulated interior and has side pockets so you can store extra things. The side pockets also work for holding drinks.
I like the bright green color, which makes you more visible when you’re riding. If you don’t like the Uber Eats branding, you could also cover it with tape if you wanted.
I use the limited edition Uber Eats delivery backpack, which unfortunately they don’t make anymore. It’s my favorite food delivery bag.
DoorDash also sells a food delivery backpack, although it’s a bit more expensive. It has similar features to the Uber Eats backpack, so if I was choosing between the two, I’d opt for the Uber Eats backpack.
2. Homevative Thermal Insulated Food Delivery Backpack
Homevative sells a solid food delivery backpack that has great reviews on Amazon. The price is also quite affordable, so this is an easy purchase you can make.
The backpack has an insulated interior and two drink holders on the side pockets. That makes it a good option for most people.
The only downside with this bag is that it’s fairly small compared to some of the more expensive options.

3. Wingyiu Thermal Food Delivery Backpack with Cup Holders
Here is another excellent food delivery backpack option you can find on Amazon. It has a sleek design and a decently sized carrying capacity, so you should be able to hold most orders in it. It also has cupholders on the side, which makes it easier to carry drinks.
There’s very little branding on this bag, which makes it a good option if you’re working for multiple delivery apps and don’t want to use a bag with another brand on it. The price point is also low, so it’s an affordable food delivery backpack if you don’t want to spend too much on one.

4. PK-65Abl: 65L Food Delivery Backpack
The PK-65Abl food delivery backpack is an excellent, high-quality backpack option. It’s a huge bag with both top-loading and side-loading options, as well as multiple levels so you can keep orders separated from each other. The bag also has a built-in cupholder, so you can hold drinks.
This is a good bag that can be worth the investment if you’re looking for a large delivery backpack. You can buy the PK-65Abl: 65L Food Delivery Backpack here.
5. BOQZ Thermal Food Delivery Backpack
The BOQZ Thermal Food Delivery Backpack is another solid and affordable option for anyone looking for a good delivery backpack. I like the smaller size and the color scheme is different from the standard black backpacks that characterize most delivery bags.
I like how there’s an external pocket where you can store some extra things. The cupholders on the sides are also helpful. This is one of the lower-priced delivery backpacks you can find, so it’s a good option if you don’t want to spend too much on a bag.

6. PK-76F: Large Doubledeck Insulated Pizza/Food Delivery Backpack
If you’re looking for a bag that can hold large items (including pizzas), then this is a good option for you. It’s one of the largest bags on this list and since it can open from the side, you can put pizzas in there without messing them up.
The multiple levels are good to keep orders separate from each other. The built-in cupholder also makes it easy to transport drinks. This is an expensive bag, but it can be worth it if you’re looking for a larger bag that can hold a lot of items.

7. Trash Bags Delivery Backpack
If you want to drop the big bucks and look like a pro, then this Minnesota-based company, Trash Bags, makes some high-quality (and expensive) delivery backpacks.
The Garbage Incinerator backpack is designed to hold huge amounts of food and other cargo. It’s the best quality bag on this list, but it also comes with a massive $375 price tag. I see a lot of hardcore bike messenger people using this bag (think those people riding single-speed or fixed-gear bikes and flying through traffic).
Most people won’t need a bag this expensive, but it’s an option if you want to splurge.
Having a good food delivery backpack is indispensable if you’re going to do deliveries using a bike or scooter. It’s going to cost you some money to buy one, but you’ll make it back once you do enough deliveries.
