If you’re wondering how to remove your credit card from Uber Eats, this post will walk you through exactly how to do it.
Uber Eats gives you many payment methods you can use to pay for your order. You can save as many credit cards as you want in the Uber Eats app. However, at some point, you might want to delete old cards to reduce your clutter and make it easier to manage your account. I do a lot of travel hacking and earn a lot of credit card rewards, so using different cards in my Uber Eats app is common for me. Eventually, I end up with so many cards in my Uber Eats app that I need to delete the old ones.
Fortunately, removing credit cards from the Uber Eats app isn’t difficult. In this post, we’ll look at all the steps you need to follow to remove a credit card from Uber Eats. Let’s see how it’s done.
How To Remove Credit Card From Uber Eats
Here’s exactly how to remove a credit card from Uber Eats.
- First, open the Uber Eats app. At the bottom of the app, you’ll see a row of icons. Click the icon that says “Account.”
- At the top of the Account page, you’ll see an icon that says “Wallet”. Click on that icon.
- On the next page, you’ll see a list of all the credit cards you have saved in your Uber Eats app.
- To delete a payment method, simply click on the card you want to delete. You’ll then have the option to “Remove Payment Method” on the next screen. Click that and repeat this process for any payment methods you want to delete from the app.
That’s it! Now you’ll have a streamlined list of payment methods in your Uber Eats account. If you want to add new payment methods, you’ll click to add a new payment method on the same page. It’s all very straightforward and intuitive.
Final Thoughts
It’s easy to remove credit cards from Uber Eats. Simply go to your Uber Eats account page, click on the Wallet section, then click on any saved credit cards to delete the card. If you want to add new cards, you can do so as well.
There are some credit cards you’ll want to keep saved in your Uber Eats account. For example, if you have an American Express Platinum card, you’ll get a credit each month that you can use toward Uber Eats orders. But to get those credits, you need to keep your American Express Platinum card linked to your Uber Eats account (you don’t have to use it to pay for orders, you just need to have it saved in your account).
